Use Natures Miracle available at per stores
Soak up all that you can with a towel. Saturate with white vinegar and let sit. Steam clean the next day
Nature's Miracle will work for a bit. But you best train that pet (or kid) quickly. None of these products work well for the long haul.
Try a product called Nature's Miracle. It's available in any pet store or on Amazon.
Here's different tips depending on the culprit http://spotremoval.coit.com/remove-urine-smell-from-carpet
I use 'My Pet Peed'. You can get it through Amazon. It is AMAZING! I got far better results than with any other product. My elderly cats had used my bedroom and porch carpets for their giant litter boxes for over a year. The smell was INTENSE. I thought I was going to have to replace the carpet AND the floor boards. But, once the carpet was removed, I sprayed the boards to with a mist of water to 'raise the smell' and then followed the directions to get rid of the smell. It took 2 treatments and the smell was gone. I did a third treatment just to be sure and then got my new carpets installed. You can't go wrong. Removes stains AND smells!
Mix half and half water and white vinager, spray on stain, sprinkle generously with baking soda. Let dry. Vacuum up. Repeat if necessary. Also, Shout works very well for unset stains.
Use —-Anti Icky Poo. Available on amazon. It is a pure enzyme . I learned about it at a cat show. It comes scented and un scented. Oneis for old stains and smells. Both work great. Check out all their products. Can even use 1/2 cup of it in medium sized load in your washer. it has been safe on all surfaces. Use a black light to make sure you find all urine affected areas.
The REAL answer is the SPOT BOT, several brands available. One end has a cleaning solution supply, the other end, the vacuumed waste. It has a powerful suction hose and end, and a spray button. you spray the spot, and vac the spot. To start, I save the cleaning solution, and just pour water directly on it, immediately vacuum. After several passes with this, use the cleaning solution, but let it set a few seconds before you vac. VAC quickly when you add the pure water, so as not to soak the pee in a wider area. We are on our second one,. SO many things to clean this way. HINT, Clean the dirty water receptical by repeated filling, shaking and dumping with fresh water.
My daughter-in-law uses whip-it. I also use it on laundry and other carpet stains. All natural. No chemicals. Nice citrus smell.
