The instructions for my shark steamer... say you can.... just DO NOT keep it in one place for too long.... KEEP IT MOVING
We use our Shark steamer on wood and laminate floors. Its pretty hot and dries rather fast once the machine has covered a spot. It may streak tho, if your floors are really shiny, or have a lot of residue from cleaners.
No...overtime the poly top coat will be compromised..thereby the whole floor will be.

Yes you can, I use one on my floors once a week or less and just spot clean with a Swiffer and a spray bottle of water.
Hi Sally. You should not use the steamer on hard wood floors. It can damage them.
