5 gallon glass water jug
I have an 5 gallon glass water jug and would love to reuse it but can't find any ideas for a jug that large.
You could paint them and put new ribbon on them, or you could paint the stripes on too and just put a bow on them.

Spray paint white and paint on fresh stripes or use red washi tape. Add dollar store bows in bright red!
Wrap with twine; glueing ends well. Embellish with ribbon and sprigs of greenery or whatever.
Just make stripes with red duct tape.
Use them to make a wreath for your home!
they could be shaped to make a swan. just paint them all white. Two make a body and one for the head.
Glue them around a can or jar to make a candy cane vase. I filled my vase with red roses I made from paper. Another idea is to break them up and bake them inside of a form creating a peppermint cake tray or ornaments of various shapes.
