Try using Bon ami
I drink tea and I think it stains even worse than coffee. I've got a bottle of something here that looks like soft scrub. I use a little on a sponge and it has the cup looking like new again.
Drop of bleach giv it a wipe and rinse

Easy! Pour in a couple tbsp. of bleach & fill the cup to the top with hot water. Let it sit a couple min. & you can watch the stains disappear! If you have any other stained mugs pour some bleach in your dishwater & let them sit till clean & rinse well. You might want to wear rubber gloves if you skin is sensitive.
Let them soak in a mixture of Oxiclean laundry powder mixed with some water.
On our coffee cups I put a small amount of bleach in the cup, fill it up with water and let it sit for a little while (I'd say around 30 minutes), rinse, wash and rinse again and they're like new. I also bleach our iced tea maker basket and pitcher, our coffee pot and basket and anything else with tea or coffee stains. Just be sure to wash and rinse thoroughly. Glass items don't absorb the bleach like plastic items do so when I bleach plastic items I keep an eye on them and don't leave them soaking for a long time. Also I don't use bleach at full strength, I always dilute it with water. I think bleach is overlooked a lot due to people being cautious about their eating and drinking utensils but if you wash and rinse the items well, there should be no problem (again, I dilute the bleach and don't use it full strength). I also bleach our hair brushes and combs periodically (do cut and clean the hair off the brush before hand!). I clean the hair out of the brushes, mix some bleach and water in a tall glass container (drinking glass is usually what I use), let them soak for a while (around an hour), soap them up and rinse them off good.
