I have no idea why Walmart doesn't carry Brew Rite coffee pot cleaner anymore, but I can tell you that Amazon has it. The one that came up said there were only 11 left, but it looks like there is more than one vendor. Another option is to use vinegar and dish detergent. I fill my sink with HOT water (actually I fill each jar, then tip them over when the water starts to high enough. I add a cup full of vinegar and a squirt of dish washing detergent and stir it in with a wooden spoon. Or if I remember, I put it into the sink in the beginning. I let everything soak until the water is cool then use a sponge to wash them down. Hope that help. Wishing you the best.
Walnart seems to be doing away with many products they use to carry! It’s my opinion that WalMart is trying to get people to buy their own brands simply by not giving the customer any other choices in their store! Personally I’m finding more and more reasons not to shop at Walmart and go to other stores that do carry the products I want or need! I think whatever WalMart is doing with their grocery dept is going to cost them business in the long run, if my shopping habits changing is any indication? I really only go there now cause it’s the closest store near my home!
I use white vinegar with great results ;)
If you want Walmart to carry a product - Ask the manager. If he gets enough requests, he will carry it.
Vinegar, fill coffee well, run halfway through, turn it off. After a half hour restart to finish. Rinse at least 2x with just water
CLR this is the actual name for the cleaner
vinager and cold water works the best. Cleans the coffee machine as well. After that run water through it again
I add about 1\4cup. Ammonia to dishwasher and close and run it fast.
nothing works as well as Brew Rite on cleaning coffee stains out of stainless steele mugs and thermos. I tried vinegar and nothing happened. I miss Brew Rite-- its outrageous price on Amazon !!
Vinegar works great.
I found it on Walmart.com so I ordered it at Walmart.com. I usually do not order online unless I can't find the item I'm looking for in stores. That's why so many Kmarts closed down is because too many people order online instead of shopping at the stores. Personally, I would rather shop at stores than online that way I can get it right now instead of waiting a day or more.
vinegar & water 4 first line on coffee pot water. use 1/2 cup on 12 cup.let cool fresh water for a couple of washing out.or adjust to your type of coffee pot good luck
sorry left out 4 cup. vinegar to first line rinse several times
Sears looks like it still carries Brew Rite.
I run vinegar through the brewer once, then pour it back in for a 2nd brew. Then run water through 2x.
For my stainless steel carafe, I put 1 dishwasher pod in it with hot water. The first time I did it, I left it longer and then used my dish brush to scrub it. Since then I do it about 1x a month or 2 and let it sit for a bit then wash it out. It works really well.
How does it work in a Keurig Coffee Brewer? I just use Brew Rite to clean my canning jars especially ones that had Venison (Deer Meat) & other hard items that are hard to get out of canning Jars.
Look for Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda (I found it at ACE Hardware). You'll get a box of it for about the same price as the small bottle of Brew Rite and it is EXACTLY the same thing ... Sodium Carbonate. I just refill my Brew Rite container with the washing soda and follow the Brew Rite instructions.
For descaling you can use vinegar or a descaling solution. Just drop in 4–5 oz of vinegar through top lid and let it drip down.
Once done, remove the carafe, rinse it. Now remove the spray head and filter. Ensure there are no clogs. If needed clean the filter using a toothpick or pin.

To paraphrase a popular commercial, “the best part of waking up is hot, fresh coffee in your cup.” It is a testament to modern ingenuity that we can prepare the coffee machine at night and be awakened the next morning by the enticing smell of brewing coffee wafting down the hallways.drink coffee and play unblocked games
