How to de-ice your car doors?

    You can gently push on the door to break the seal, or you could also heat with a hair blower , or, and the best of all, start your car remotely and let the heat melt that ice away. I don't have a remote start so it looks like I will be either blowing or heating this winter. Blah. Happy Holidays.

    My problem was always unlocking with my key. Finally covered keyhole so no snow/melting ice would get in to freeze door mechanism in both front doors.

    Years ago, you could get the slim sample size hairsprays. I lived in AK so I know it works.

    If you have remote start just start the car. Try using a hair dryer around the door. You really only need to get one door open then you can start the car and let the others warm up

    You can get lockease and silicone spray at WAlmart for little of nothing. .and use heat in your gas tank and try to keep it full that helps
