Put up a large art piece based on your decor
what about a photo wall of family pictures.
I could see a repurposed, large stained glass window mounted high on the wall, try centering it on the wall. Also try adding some uplighting. If installing to electricity is not an option, many battery LED lights with remote controls are available and could be an option.
If you have a quilt that is large that could be in place of a stained glass window. Even a grouping of quilts, animal skins, etc that fit your style. If you have any collections of family heirlooms display those; it would be larger objects up high, smaller collection lower on the wall. Lay out placement of items on the floor to determine the layout before placement on the wall. I see endless possibilities, a blank canvas; how exciting! Good luck and post a "before and after" photo!
I would either add a big statement piece of art or spruce it up by turning it into a gallery wall full of different frames and pictures, clock, mirrors etc.

all great ideas...maybe some floating shelves in different sizes placed in the space to display photos or decor ??
I chose a large rug with candle Sconces on both sides. The sconces were about 24” tall so they could hold the space without looking like a postage stamp on a football field. Looked terrific and didn’t require dusting like smaller picture frames would.
You can always decorate the windows with stain glass that will shine through to your wall.
Build a glass shelving unit. Put in lights under the glass shelves. I collect Japanese dolls so I would use that. But antiques, Family momentals , trophy’s etc. . Be great place for Christmas village displays. If you put glass doors it cuts down on dust and keeps things in order. Or if you have a country or area you have memor of put a large picture or hanging in middle, put shelves on all sides put things from vacation or times living there on them. Good luck and Happy New Year 🎆🎊🎈.
If you are a crafter, or know one, you can make or have made, a quilt that will fill the space - and it can be made to compliment your décor and personal taste.
What about some large paper flowers? All white is pretty, or what ever you color scheme is.
A quilt would add color and be such a focal piece. You can easily use a quilt track or even a curtain rod will work nicely. Send a pic after you make your decision!
We had a similar situation and decided to collect mirrors from thrift stores-(budget for me: no more than $20 per mirror; many were much less.) You could collect old pictures with a theme: flowers, landscapes, ships, old portraits, abstract prints, botanicals--anything you like. You can paint the frames all one color for cohesion or leave the frames as is for a more bohemian feel. The other ideas that others have shared are also all great ideas. We spent three years collecting our mirrors and then painted them all white. They have been up several years now and I still love it. Whatever you decide, don't be in a hurry and live with something you'll regret. Figure out what you like-if you love it, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks. Here is a link to our mirror wall. Maybe it will give you some ideas.
Install a carpet...on a sturdy rod.
I had a 25' high arrium/skylight in an very open stairwell at one time. I made a frame out of 1" wide pieces of lumber, a little smaller all around than the large abstract print fabric tablecloth I got at a discount store.
"Stretched" the tablecloth snugly around the frame, stapling in place. Then hung well up on the wall from landing where staircase turned, using simple wall anchors with screws left out just enough for the frame to catch on at the top.
I added a large metal candle sconce on either side of tge hanging that had some leaves set onto the scrolled wire of sconce...they came painted pale green which complemented the fabric design nicely.
As I recall, the fabric hanging cost less than $12 including the lumber (which I screwed together) -- inexpensive was a must. The sconces came from a catalog such as Carol Wright on sale. When I moved, my condo buyers asked to keep the set-up!
With that black screen I would do one of those 3-d origami butterfly sprays up the wall.... https://www.pinterest.com/pin/AQ-GXq5xzJlgRfJeL0L49a8xb77h5W_M8peTMkUlQemw8vCxV2n2SxA/
