Do you have any good ideas for crafts using leftover deck spindles?
I have left over spindles and was wondering how I might use them.
tie a raffia bow on it and use it to store items on your bathroom vanity counter like tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc.
same as with mason jars, you can paint them, use bows and ribbons fill with lights, the possibilities are endless
I have started saving them too, my 99 Cent Store sells them, 2 for 99 cents. Have not yet decided wat the projects will be.

Make them into soy wax candles.
I love Dawns idea except don't use anything you would not want "flush" debris on. I would do faux foliage and flowers, craft brushes and crochet hooks, tools, and more. This link will give you tons of ideas.

I used Mirror effect and Sea glass spray paints and made votive candle holders from mine.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
At Christmas we put tea lights in them and set them in the snow for outdoor decor for our party. It was really lovely...so said the guests :-) However, after the party I put them in the recycle bin so they can be used again and again for other glassware :-)
we used them at Christmas for pot de creme and banana and chocolate pudding.
I tied wide ribbon around and filled with water to use as a rooting jar for my baby spider plants It sits in my bathroom. I just loved the jar didn't want to see it go into the recycle bin.
Love the suggestions everyone! I use some for votives and put sea glass around the votive inside to give it a nice glow. When I run out of votives I use fairy lights inside and put them on the patio wall. They're gorgeous!
p.u sYou can Mod Podge it with family photos, magazine pictures, wrapping paper you love, or colored tissue paper, even fancy paper napkins( separate the two layers and only use the decorated one). Then spray or brush on polyurethane. Can hold toothbrushes, pencils/pens, paring knives...points down (cut a new sponge to fit the inside bottom to save knife tips). Also, new kitchen skewers...points up. Straws. Hair ties. Rings. Have FUN!
I use them as dessert cups for puddings, mousse, and such
I started saving thsee jars, but man the labels were very difficult to get off. I save lots of jars and have never had this much trouble getting the paper label off. Anyone else find this to be true?
The labels came off in one piece for me. I pushed one side with a spoon until I had a large enough piece to grab and pulled each label off quite easily. I used goof off on the glue residue and it also wiped off very easily. I thought they were the easiest labels to remove!
It's unhygienic and unsightly to leave sealant on the rim, so clean that too.
They are five oz jars and make creat little drinking cups. They make good wildflower vases, containers for sugar/Splenda packets, they are excellent tea light holders. La fermiere jars are larger and aesthetically superior, but their Instagram page has ideas that translate to Oui jars and are perhaps a little nicer than what is seen on official oui pages.
