How do you clean a mattress with yellow sweat stains?
Our mattress covering is stained with yellow sweat stains where both our bodies lie when sleeping. I am pretty sure the stains are caused by sweat because we both tend to get sweaty at night.

- CKon Jan 2, 2018Try lightly sponging on an oxygen cleaner such as Oxiclean. Don't get the mattress completely saturated because you could make the stain worse. Try on a small spot, let dry and if it seems to work, you can proceed.Though some people hate mattress pads, they do help keep stains from getting directly on the mattress. ;-) (My hubby hates them but I insist we use them to keep the mattress looking clean.)HelpfulReply

Hillela G.on Jan 3, 2018Open the windows then, using a white rag, blot the stain with undiluted, unscented household ammonia. Do NOT drench your mattress! Wipe the area with aclean, damp cloth and sprinkle the spot with baking soda to neutralize the ammonia odor and pull out any lingering moisture.HelpfulReply
