Bird Bath

Any unique bird bath ideas out there? I'm not a fan of the store bought stuff. Looking for country/rustic look.

farm supply stores (Tractor Supply) have an array of containers, trays, etc. made out of galvanized metal. You could put it on an old plant stand, log, concrete blocks, etc

I am making a birdbath and feeder by re-purposing an old porcelain and metal chandelier with 6 arms. Use a larger bowl (from a thrift store) for the bath and glue on with marine silicone adhesive and used thrift store tea cups and saucers in various patterns for the food and some for the water. Or you can create it for all mini bird baths or all birdseed. Can hang from a pole on from a tree limb or even a strong hook from your porch overhang. I have also seen some where they inverted a large candle holder and glued to the top an appropriate sized shallow bowl. This one happened to be a big heavy crystal candle hold and a depression glass bowl. It was stunning and so creative.

you can make your own with concrete/wire mesh and a homemade form from large leaves, (elephant ear type), or you can build a 'fountain' using old watering cans and a basin - just make sure the receptacle is of varying depths - some larger birds (robins) like deeper water, smaller birds prefer shallow, but you can add stones to give them something to 'perch' on ... any BB needs to be easy to get to in your yard, and easy to clean and keep filled.

I just cut down some Oak trees and have a lot of large and smaller pieces that may wor. Thinking about making some bird houses out of the smaller pieces too.
