Some cars, I know I had one years ago, if you replace the battery you had to have it rematched to your door locks. Some cars have different ways of doing this, it should say in the book that came with the car, or the dealer could tell you. Make sure you put the battery in right. The only other thing would be the fob needs replacing.
Had the same thing happen. I keep that one as the spare. New ones from the dealer are pricey but there are after-market fobs that you can program yourself. I should get one before the second fob dies. I would hate to go back to the old days of actually locking and unlocking the car with the key.
Just needs to be reprogrammed. If you don't know how dealer can do it.
