They sell plastic covering that adheres to the inside of your slider for insulation, or you can use insulated draperies, which really do help.

I Lined my curtains with white fleece. It is amazing how well the fleece absorbs the cold.
I may have neglected to mention my CAT, who likes to pick at the thin plastic sheets that come in those kits! I need suggestions for blocking air around the perimeter, where I think the door has settled. This is especially noticeable at the bottom, where the wooden floor gets very cold.
