Hello. I just use a damp rag and wipe them down. If they are really dirty then I also use Murphy oil soap.
I use a broom with a towel.Fold hand size towel cut hole in center and thread overhandle. This makes a floor mop as well a duster for baseboards and then wash using different towels 1for dust 1fordetergant. 1 for rinse When finished. toss in wash and always have clean. floor wall or bathroom mops
Vacuum them first before wiping down. Dust is awful to remove when it gets wet.
i use wipes- baby wipes!! Yes, they clean so much better than Clorox (or other cleaning wipes) and don't leave a sticky residue that clumps up dust and still sticks in place. Just rub back and forth-easiest way I have found to really clean them well and inexpensive too!!
w I use a soft sides bee mop, the kind that wring out. I just run it along the baseboard. I also use the mop to scrub walls and then I can just lightly dry them off with a damp rag.
I have a lot of staircase and a balcony so I use the 3 ft long swiffer duster tool intended for ceiling fans. It bends at a few angles. I can then walk and slip that thing between each stair railing to dust the floor instead of getting on my hands and knees. I have another brand too with a washable cover. Love them. You may need to do a good washing first with damp rag but maintain it with a similar tool. Not sure how bad your are?
The easiest way I know is using the Turbo Hurricane Scrubber. They have extensions, various brushes, and do a wonderful job. We just use our usual non-toxic cleaner and ours come clean. We ordered ours online, but you can get them at Walmart now near the check out areas and probably other outlets.
Thanks to every to everyone that replied to my question :) I will try 1 or2 I am looking to avoid being on my Knees so a couple of these suggestions should suit me ....
