Hi Lucy, You will start by tilling up the area where you want your flower bed to be. Be sure to break up the big chunks of dirt and smooth the whole thing out. Then make a plan where you want your flowers to be in the bed. I like to put taller plants in the back and graduate to smaller plants in front. If you are starting from seed, Just make a make a hole (look on the pack of seeds to learn how deep the hole should be) and place a seed in it. Cover with dirt and water lightly. If you are starting with established plants, just put a plant in the hole and cover with dirt. Water. Hope this info helps you. Good luck.

Good luck!
Pick you r spot. Till the ground good. make sure you have all the weeds out. Perhaps put an edging around it. Then plant what you like and what will grow in your area. perhaps run a watering sysytem. You can runoff your hose and use a timer or tap into sprinkler system. You can find parts at lowes or home depot
