I'm not sure of the name brand of the stove but you must be able to get under the glass top to clean the burns and skuz without getting electrocuted.
I cleaned mine outside with the garden hose. You want to be in the open air when you open the bags due to the fumes.
we used garbage bags and put the ammonia on paper towels.
It won't hurt the plumbing to put it down the sink, but just rinse it down with hot water so you won't smell it for a while.
Amonia is water soluble - down the drain or toilet with lots of water.
I have discovered that plain white vinegar works far better, smells better (??) and for me, it works. I tried the ammonia thing decades ago and it didn't work but I DID get quite sick from the fumes! Good luck!
I also put mine in my self cleaning oven. Depends on how dirty they are.
