Put the curtains right into the corners and it will look like it is all one. If you don't want curtains, maybe paint the corner to match the shades.
They make a corner unit with a swiveling ball for connecting two curtain rods at the corner; hang curtains or just panels on each side and in the corner to frame windows
So fun! You can make it look connected like one huge corner window and put sheer curtains if that’s an option for a super open and modern look
I hang heavy curtains up and use tie-backs. Make the middle straight and both OUTER edges swing back. Looks terrific.
I would either build a valance for them, or put up nicer curtain rods with drapes ONLY on the ends and sheers on the same rods to cover the windows. The drapes at the end gives it a dressy look and the sheers can be with or without a design built in, depending on your taste. For example, we did our son's room in greens and browns. His bedspread was nature and trees, the sheers we hanged up also had a large tree or trees from bottom to top. He loves it. He has all his hunting things on the walls and it looks really nice.
Ok, yes I just checked online at JCP; it's called Studio Corner Rod Connector
Shabby chic window treatments are all about softness, draping in soft cottons, voiles, lace and soft florals...... blinds won't add to the effect.... if you need to leave them up, I would put a soft voile shade over it..... http://www.brylanehome.com/decor/Margo-Rod-Pocket-Moving-Panel.aspx?PfId=571488&DeptId=25389&ProductTypeId=1&ppos=35&Splt=0&StyleNo=0357

Then add some soft sheers,,, http://www.brylanehome.com/Home-Sheer-Curtains.aspx?DeptId=25389 maybe a valence

Use rods from discount stores Install to edges.than buy 3 curtains but put one in cornr. To spread. Both ways you caan u, se drop paint sheets and dye them ?
If you like the shabby chic look perhaps sheer crisscross Priscillas. The fabric would look lovely gathered in the corner and visually they don't present as heavy. If that is not to your taste pehaps dummy panels on each corner. They could give the illusion of height.
Oh I feel your pain! I have the exact situation in my bedroom. What would possess a builder to do this to an innocent bedroom? I buy 4 curtains (on a budget can be hard to find unless you sew), 2 large decorative rods but do not use the end that will meet in the corner. You can hang a modern hanging lamp or one of those cool hanging multi-tier terrarium planters or just schooch the curtains together til they meet in the corner giving you a cohesive corner of color or pattern. I personally have the curtains meet at the corner then place part of my head board against the half of the right side and my husbands dresser pararell to the bed. I still have plenty of room for a large beside table. I dont have mini blinds so I do this more for privacy purposes. You could also put a screen in the corner for a bohemian feel.
