I use these bags about 70% of the time and have had no issues over the past 3 years.
I use plastic bags in mine to catch cuttings, without problems. If you are still concerned, go online and find the make/model of your shredder and see if they have further info.
Are you talking about a paper shredder? If so the plastic would most probably melt before it would catch on fire. Just monitor it when using and for a short time after.
yes it’s not shredding the bag or even finding a box that fits the shredder and get rid of the box when it’s full
Putting plastic thru a paper shredder is not a good idea. Look for places that use plastic grocery bags to make things like rugs and donate to them.
some shredders come with plastic bag hooks built in, I can't see any reason to not use a plastic liner bag

l would not put the plastic into the shredder as it will clog the blades, get hot and possibly burn out the motor.
