Ive used a warm iron and a blotting cloth or clean rag ( that you might have to discrad.)
I would put some soft cotton cloth underneath and on top, and then iron it out with a hot iron. Move the clothes around so there is an area to absorb the wax.
white paper towels and an iron on warm NOT HOT, and don't forget to clean the bottom of the iron when your done. worked wonders on a really light carpet
Hi Candyhd84, Place paper towels under and over the wax stain. Set your iron to warm or medium and iron over the paper towels. The wax should come right off. Repeat if necessary. Then launder your table cloth as usual.
Lay another clean but junk cloth on top. Heat up your clothes iron (lower setting) and press back and forth on the junk cloth. You'll do this just as if you're ironing it, but make sure the top cloth is completely covering the wax, separating the iron from it. The wax will completely lift and attach to the junk cloth. I've found it's actually then pretty easy to remove from the junk cloth then, but not a guarantee. This works great on carpets too!
I agree with Montana Marie's advice - except that I typically try freezing it first. Some wax will sometimes pick off . Then do the ironing method. Then launder as usual.
I would put it in the freezer. You should be able to scrape the wax off after that.
Place a stack of paper towels directly under the wax and place another stack on top. With a warm iron (no steam), press down until the paper towels absorb the wax. Then launder as usual
