Cut the thread with sharp scissors dampen the end and put in the hole, if the thread splits cut it again and start again.
Used one of these last week on a tiny, tiny eyed needle....worked great!
Angie makes me think of my granddaughter; when she was little and asked me to thread a needle for her. Since I sew an awful lot this was no problem for me but as is usually the case, I missed the hole the first time. My GD laughed and said "no, no, Grandma, through the hole, not beside it!"
Lay the thread across your palm and rock the needle hole back and forth across the thread. The thread will loop into the needle hole by itself.
Now my mom told me just about everything about sewing but not how to thread a needle in your palm! Learn something new every day, thanks.
Take a hair from your head, fold it in half, put the loop of hair through the eye of the needle then the thread through the loop of hair, gently pull loop of hair with the thread back gently. Old dressmaker's trick.
