Baking soda and a scrubber sponge will clean almost any pan bottom back to a shine. Pour the baking soda onto a damp sponge, or onto the pan bottom itself, and apply elbow grease. Scrub in circles except for the stains. Baking soda will work on copper, ceramic, iron, glass, stainless steel—almost anything—and won’t leave scratches. Best wishes ☺️
if I understood right, baking soda paste with detergent/vinager left for a few hours
I use BarKeeper's Friend which is a very fine powdery cleanser used to clean stainless steel sinks and cookware. Wet the surface, then sprinkle on the powder and rub. Does not ruin the finish. Be sure to rinse thoroughly a couple of times.

Barkeeper's Friend the best
I use Brillo pads or another brand of soap infused steel wool. If you can warm - not hot - the bottom first it seems to loosen the grease and other burnt on stuff.
