Yes! Would give a finished look and prevent dirt from migrating into the gap. Use painters tape on the edge of the tile leaving about 1/8" exposed along the baseboard. and do the same to the baseboard. A small bead of caulk where they meet and a wet finger to smooth it out. Remove the tape and you have a clean straight line of caulk in the seam.
Yes, unless you have laminate. For laminate flooring, a small gap is left for the expansion of the flooring in hot weather and over time. ☺️
You can do it, we have a patio door and sand from the driveway migrates underneath it, so the obvious solution was to caulk the gap.
Yes. You can just apply a bead of caulking then wipe with your finger to force the caulking into the crack. Follow with a wet rag to wipe off all of the excess caulking, usually just one long wipe along the seam.
