I put mine in the freezer for a few hours and the wax pops right off. If they are ornate with ridges, or designs, maybe have a wooden kebab stick ready to get into the crevices.
Throw it in the freezer for a bit, then you should be able to pop it right out with a little encouragement.
Stick it in the freezer
Hi Dolphin, Here's a link that may help: http://www.auntpeaches.com/2012/09/how-to-remove-candle-wax-from-glass.html
Good luck!
Using a butter knife, I gently pry out the remaining metal piece that held the wick, then microwave for about 30 seconds. This softens the wax so I can remove it using the butter knife also.
Pour almost boiling water in it then dump it out and wipe the jar out
The way I do it is to soak the bottom of the candle in hot water for several minutes. Then pop the candle wax out with an old spoon. To get the rest of the candle wax out, I grab a few pieces of newspaper and place in the bottom of my microwave. I then place the candle upside down on the newspaper. Set the microwave at 30 seconds. Check every 30 seconds until all of the wax appears to be melted. Grab several paper towels, use them to pick up the candle, it will be hot! Then just wipe it out with a clean paper towel, while it's hot. Should come out shiny anf look brand new!
Put It in the freezer. Pick it off.
