You need someone who can look around your house and envision where adding a structure or a shelf or baskets may be a good choice because there is no solution we can recommend that will work in most places. That person is you. Take a look on Pinterest. It is THE place to go for design and decorating ideas. If you spend some time refining your search and looking at all of the different ideas you cannot help but find some ideas that will work for you.
Hi Tiffany, what are you trying to store ?? That really is the question before it can be answered. I go for lots of shelving, i don't have alot of cupboards in my kitchen either so I put up 3 shelves so I can display all my cookbooks and cakestands. Then i have alot of baskets for storing everything from linens to extension cords. In my Master bath I needed something next to my pedestal sink for all my hair products and curling irons, estrogen I bought alliteration freestanding cabinet and I also bought a larger cabinet with glass front doors and a drawer for my craft room for all my wrapping papers and bowe. Well hope some of these ideas help you find a solution to your problem. We would all love to see what you decide on.
Use hooks on the back of doors, free standing clothes racks, shelving on the walls. When storage is limited - go vertical and take the solutions up the wall, doors, side of cabinets, etc.
Remember under bed storage also. There are plastic bins that fit under there.

Use ottomens that are hollow for storage. Also use the space above your cupboards for things you rarely access. Add extra shelves to preexisting cupboards (half shelves).
