Trying to re-color my floor grout! (The easy way!!)

I like the idea of grout pens but I think it would take a lot! The room size is about 9'x12'. Any ideas that would be a little less costly? Thanks

Acrylic paints works well
Lowe's has small bottles of paint to recolor grout. I used it in my kitchen because my grout was too light. I used a toothbrush and damp rag and it worked really well. This was several years ago and it still looks fine.
