Would it be cosmetically unappealing to use black faucet with brushed?

That will look really pretty! Just know that if you have hard water, you will need to wipe the faucet down after each and every single use. I do anyway, but I live alone. With a family that may not be possible.
not at all if that is your style
I think it would look great with the black counter tops. If you love the black, go with it as you may not be happy if you put in a faucet with a different finish. It is your kitchen, go for it!
Black and white together are classics. You can buy black kitchen faucets all over the place so that attests that somebody must be buying them! If the sink is white, I think the contrast of a black faucet would look great and tie right into the black countertops and (possibly) new black hardware on your cabinets.
Sounds lovely.
