Ideas for 2 consoles

I have 2 of these consoles that don’t work in my new house. I have no use/space for them on the main floor but would love to use in the basement which is a playroom for our boys however the material it being metal/glass top make it dangerous. Any ideas of what I can do with them?
Replace the glass with a piece of plywood (1/2” thick) paint with funky colours or with a tea design /logo.
If you need a table, use them as the legs.
What about removing glass and make new tops with wood? Free pallet wood or go buy some boards. You can also make them as bases or ends together for a larger table. More work and expense.
How about flipping them on their sides to make low tables. Cover them with a sheet of painted wood for a place to work on Legos or a "Thomas the Train" area.
I would replace the glass with wood and make them lego tables for the kids to play on.
HANG ON WALL AND USE AS BOOK SHELVES OR ADD TIMBER SIDES AND USE FOR SHOES ETC......
