How do you get wax out of glass jars?

    Put the jar in the freezer for several hours. Remove the glass and pry the wax edge away from the glass surface. Big chunks of the glass will peel away from the glass. After you have loosened and removed as much as you can, put the glass in the microwave on high for 20-30 seconds. pour off the melted wax. Now you can scrub out the remnaining bits of wax with Dawn and hot water.

    Melt it off... By using Boiling Water or just Micrwaving... This should work

    I did it before by setting the jar upside down on several layers of paper towels in the microwave. But be careful. If you put them in too long it gets really hot and could start a fire! Safer way would be to do the same thing in a regular oven, maybe 350 degrees...To get the final film of wax out, use ammonia.

    I freeze my jars then wiggle the wax w a butter knife usually pops out
