there is a type of sealer for concrete that u brush on, ask Lowes
They make a self leveling product for topping concrete surfaces, you may need to squeegee it on over a large surface then it will level itself out
You need a polymer modified resurfacing cement.

That’s what they do if you want cooler concrete. Try walking on regular concrete barefoot then try with the pits. Much cooler. Some concrete people do that around pools. It’s called cool deck! Hope that helps. If not then put sealer on it.
The pitting on concrete walkways create “no slip” surfaces so you won’t get a nasty lawsuit if someone does fall on your property.
If you head for your hardware store you should be able to find a product to coat the top and smooth it out again. You may have to put down a bonding agent before the finish so be sure to ask.
