Wall art for son's room

I'd like to create some kind of art for my teen's bedroom walls...something that can be easily changed. I was thinking of something with painter's tape. His nick name is Tsunami but I have no idea how that could be translated into some kind of wall art. Ideas?

Wouldn't know what to do with name myself,. However guys tend like geometric designs may be use the tape in "his colors" for a design.
You could hang a blank XL picture frame on his wall. Then inside the frame hang as many clip boards as you can. Hang art on the clip boards. Easy to change out. Use paint to make the frame and the clip boards match. Take a walk thru thrift store to buy inexpensive frame.
Would you consider removable wallpaper or vynil wall stickers? Kids change their minds often from one superhero to another, one favorite animal or team or sport to another. That way you can easily change it without any inconvenience.
I think wind, dark clouds, storms, XL waves, bending palm trees and a sunrise for hope - come to think of it, a lot like raising a teenager, LOL ... does Tsunami have anything to do with a sport he plays? his reckless playfulness? WIN BIG or go home attitude? Gear it towards him and what that represents - to him as well as others. Posters, homemade signs/sayings (paint on old doors, drawer fronts, etc), chalkboard (paint 2 coats of flat black paint over an old print in a cool frame, condition with chalk wipe off, paint out draw waves, palm trees etc on frames signs (or soccer balls, skateboards, whatever), or cut boards/luan with jigsaw sms paint to match your theme
Is he into skateboarding or snowboarding at all? Here is a fun looking 3D wall art idea......
