remember each one is used for different plants, please choose carefully.http://www.naturallivingideas.com/tips-recipes-for-homemade-organic-fertilizer/
I had a worm bin that I added fruit and veggies peels, banana peels Apple cores etc. I had it in the basement. You can do this outside as well on a bigger scale. It is very easy to do. I quit the small indoor one I had because of the little gnats that were always present. Just Google it.
I use the Worm Farm. It is a 4 tray set up that gives you all you need to start. You buy the worms and using all scraps from your kitchen (NO oils, grease. ot meats) including the lint from you dryer, paper egg cartons, old newspaper, straw, etc., you will have a wonderfully healthy compost and you even get worm tea, which is not recommended for food garden but great on ornamentals. Worm tea is the liquid that drains out. Go to Worm Factory.com
