Soak with vinegar and hot water for an hour or two depending on how much scale there is.
Vinegar, hot water and blue dawn dish soap.
Careful use of CLR or muriatic acid. Careful to supply lots of fresh air with fans and eye protection If using the muriatic since it is dilute hydrochloric acid!
My husband cleans the shower glass screen with a wire mesh dish scrubber and this works fine.
I scrub my shower room tiles, glass door and sink with CIF cream cleanser. Very effective in removing scales and grimes
Keep in mind frequently glass in showers or glasses from dishwashers often can get etched. It’s not dirty but permantly etched from minerals and soap in water.
