Screwing in loop cleats, or deck cleats (various styles available) would give very sturdy supports for mounting wreaths, garland, 3D light structures such as stars, Halloween scarecrows, etc. When used with large lobster hooks, they will facilitate taking displays down at the end of the season.
Here you need to think about what to do with it!
Buy some round logs. Make a square to cover stump. Put flowers. That is what my neighbor did. She planted flowers in the square. She also planted roses as you walk out of her house...how beautiful they are. If you want to see it...come to Linda Circle in Sherrelwood . Go to El Paso Blvd. Turn onto Linda Circle. House is located up Linda Circle. It is across from my next door neighbor. A Hispanic family lives there now. Cindy loved flowers. I think she did a great job hiding that stump. The water tank gets visited on July 4th fireworks. Also kids love their sleds in winter. Used to see red foxes playing in front of water tank. It get mowed often by the city. My home has never been broken into. When we first moved in, my next door neighbor had a young son. He came over with a pigs head! I guess he was trying to impress me. He sure did with a pigs' head in the kitchen when I saw him. He became good friends with my family. He is married now to a women who already had a family.
