I have a bathroom closet with 6 doors, they need help!!!!

they have been poorly painted by previous owners. I can see the wear around the handles. Can something be done without all the sanding?

    Why not draw a circle around the handles and just paint that, maybe a contrast or toning colour maybe . Or Cut out circles (Well, they could be any shape out of Contact and stick them round handles (cut into 2 ,3 or 4 to fit)

    Remove the paint with citristrip a non toxic remover

    I've never tried it but I've read a lot of good things about chalk paint. Other than a good clean surface people just paint it on-no sanding involved. My first spring project will be painting my bathroom vanity and I plan on trying this "miracle" paint. Hope it works! :)
