If you like the fabric on your window treatments, and they are long enough, you may be able to have them cut down to make valances. As for the blinds, woven and wooden blinds should be able to be painted. You'll probably need to coat them with primer first, but a fresh, light color would give them a new look.

Paint wooden blinds from pale at top to dark at bottom in any colour. Paint plain colour or put design on bottom (could use Contact or other fabric too.......
