Great question! Generally the one that you see first when walking in a room. Should be something you want to feature, by way of color or architectural details, etc. Check out these links, they go into further detail.

It depends on a lot of things - whether you are painting it a color to minimize flaws or to draw attention to a feature you love; if it is highlighting artwork or other accessories; WHICH WALL YOU JUST LIKE TO FOCUS ON, etc. Like all interior design, the primary decision lies with what you like and how it works with everything else you own. There are no hard and fast (or correct) rules.
This is the wall where you want the eyes to focus when they enter a room, like a wall with a fireplace, or a place you will place your favorite paintings/decor. In our home, the front room accent wall is to the right of the door, it is the least broken up wall, the maiin wall without the windows, cabinets etc.
It depends on the layout of the room.I accented my largest wall in my den.
Have fun with it, Terri! I know it will look gorgeous
