BUY A FAN THAT SENDS THE HEAT /AIR DOWNWARDS
Install ceiling fans to blow it back down. Even a high powered portable fan pointed towards the ceiling will circulate the warm air.
I would have ceiling fans and reverse the blades
I agree, put in ceiling fans and put the blades to blow down in the winter and up in the summer to circulate the air in the room.
Do you have a forced air furnace? Are your heating vents in the walls, or on the floor?
Fans work fantastic. Some have a button that allows you to reverse the direction
