Do you have a vacuum cleaner attachment you could use.......or maybe try blowing the dust off with a hair blow dryer on high blow, low heat. Another thought is to use a magic erasure sponge very gently over the surface.
Hi Clara mine are like a plastic stuff I unhook the top then give them a good scrub with nifty/ Ajax I live in the bush so this gets done every two weeks I hope it helps
Vacuum then use a steam cleaner.
If possible and not windy I would hang them outside and gently brush them with a feather duster or something very soft.
