I often get large, pretty planters at Costco. Not a big selection, usually only a few styles, but price can't be beat. Just got a package of five whiskey barrel-look plant pots, 13" wide, for $20.

I like to get the large plastic ones and make sure they have drainage holes In bottom. They are light and easy to move. They also do not dry out like clay.
