Hi there, yes you can! Rustoleum actually makes a kit with good instructions just for bath tubs and tile in bathrooms!
You can but you must clean and dull the finish first so that any paint you apply sticks. Put on a good quality primer and then your finish coat. There is a deglosser for paint at your hardware or paint store. Always check the label of any paint for its uses.
Also highly recommend if you like a more unique or expensive look without the price tag a site and a product called Spreadstone. Available somewhat at home depot, but watch videos on Daischcoatings.com and available for less and in so many optional colors. Less than 100.00
