Yes. Clean, lightly sand (if needed), prime & paint.
Clean sand and prime with a good primer , and than have fun with whatever color you want.. Chalk paint is suppose to be able to paint anything and stay but it doesn't on laminate ...Go the extra mile and make those first steps part of your painting for a long term use.

Yes! Clean grease off the cabinets. Sand the laminate lightly so it will hold paint. Paint with chalk paint, which will cover any pockmarks or scratches in the surfaces. Leave them painted, or seal with one or two coats of finish to help keep out dirt or oils. Best wishes ☺️
