I would like to put some plants on my bedroom wall using a planter.

Put your plants in pots without drainage holes. Contrary to popular belief, houseplants don‘t need drainage. You just have to water them properly. Ive been in the business for over 30 years. None of my clients have pots with drainage. That just doesn’t work in a hospital or a lawyer’s office. Your pots don’t need to be pretty. Once you put them in the cages, camouflage them with Spanish or sheet moss. There are squeeze bottles with a curved tube made for watering overhead plants. You can probably get them on Amazon.
I would put a liner in the planter and then add the dirt and plants.
the above response is great - but also take into consideration the amount of light required ( or not ! ) by the plants you select. There is more to good plant 'health' than just water!
You can buy coco liners usually at the dollar store this time of year that slip into planters like this. A flexible plastic container like the bottom of a 4 litre water jug can slide into the planter with the soil and plant inside. Once the plant fills out it will cover the access space or you can put in multiple 1 litre jugs cut off and put a plant in each!
I would spray paint them and add fake ones, bring them to Micheals or hobby lobby and have a floral designer who will do that for a fee and the cost of the flowers, this way it will match your decor and no maintenance needed.
Thanks Mogie5757! Great idea!
there are absolutely gorgeous artificial greenery plants available today -- not the $store variety -- but ones that you have to actually pinch/touch/feel to tell the difference -- you might want to go that route! more expensive to start with, but you wouldn't have to replace them if the environmental conditions ( light, humidity, soil type, etc. ) was not to their liking!
Your welcome and be sure to post a photo of your finished project 📌🌺
Line the plant section with heavy plastic or insert a planter liner.
If you use an air plant ....bromeliad, you don't have to concern yourself w potting soil. Spray occasionally w water
I wouldn't. It is too easy for mold to form and you don't want that in your bedroom.
