How to get crud off a new glasstop stove?

My youngest son was hospitalized and I stayed with him except for in the mornings when I then came home to check on everything. His older brother decided to cook on my new, black glasstop stove. When I came home in the morning to check, I found a pan with food in it on the stove and the burner was on low. I am heartbroken. I have tried Barkeepers Friend, Cerama, scrubbie that you can use on a glasstop. I also laid a hot, wet towel on it, all to no avail. What in the World can I do?
