How to get rid of cat scratches & water spot damage from Cherry Wood?

I have solid Cherry Wood cabinets w / trim through out my home and there is water spots near the sinks and scratches from cats on the doors of the cabinets. What are my best options?

for the cats s scratching....clear packing tape set sticky side out. When they stop scratching there then refinish. Water spots...white spots.try vinager, if you have hard water.

To fix water spots and cover scratches try Restore-A-Finish. Wipe on with a soft cloth in direction of wood grain. Wipe off with a 2nd cloth. Wear gloves. $9.00 a can at Home Depot or Hardware store. A little goes a long way.
Try furniture restoration wax for scratches. Dry out areas that are white.
