room dividers- picture hanging hardware, clothes line, sheets with a top hem. place the picture hangers directly across from each other. thread thin rope or clothes line thru the top hems of sheets, connect to opposite wall.
you can do the peel and stick plastic hooks peel and stick type-instead of picture hangers.

Make stand up frames, paint or stain and cover them in attractive sheets that go with the décor. You can make a number of them to put up as much wall as you need so that they are easy to move. You can make them as tall or as wide as you want. You can make a door the same way, just put a small tension rod at the top of the opening. and hang a sheet on it for a door that can be kept open or closed as needed.
Rather than attach anything to the walls since it is temporary I would look at a privacy screen which come in allsorts of sizes and patterns.
Not sure of your time frame, but you can actually rent partition walls or perhaps find them on a craigslist etc. Also can Ikea sells these screen type curtains that you can get in many sizes that you put up a curtain rod idea for that is included and other idea is barn door look which would also cut down on noise factor if that is a consideration. Easy to uninstall when done as well. Look for cheap on local flea markets etc and hardware available on Amazon.
Book cases, room dividers, curtains hung on PVC pipe or electrical conduit.
