Outdoor furniture, not so much unless you seal it with an outdoor sealer , then it's just as hardy as any other paint.
And I'll add two to three coats of sealer. Miss a spot and the paint will dissolve.
If you use chalk paint on outside furniture the heat from the sun will make it bubble up and crack. It is not recommended for outside furniture. Unless you can keep your furniture out of the sun and heat I would choose a different kind of paint.
