I have two of these on my wall in my craft room.
You can put them in the pockets of an over the door shoe storage organizer. Or if you have a section of a drawer available you can put them on a tension rod. or you can use a cafe curtain rod

I have mine standing on edge in a dresser drawer. You can also run a dowel thru them and hang it in a closet. Depends on how many spools you have.
