Can you grow peas upside down in baskets ?
-
Lisa on Apr 27, 2014To the best of my knowledge, peas climb, which would indicate 'up', rather than down. I picture them climbing the supports and ending up on your roof. You'll have to tell us if your experience is different than that. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Felicity Woodruffe on Apr 28, 2014yes yes and yes again i have been doing this for years also grown them in old tights full of compost and over the branches of trees and large shrubs.their little tendrills are strong and hang on whatever the weather only thing to point out is hanging baskets dry out very quickly i made a paper mulch added it to the baskets to help hold some water if really hot i would soak in the eveningsHelpful Reply
