What should the divider between painted latex headboard wallpaper and

I am going to use an idea from Hometal k where the homeowner used latex beadboard paintable wallpaper in her kitchen.
Usually when I have seen headboard paneling there seems to be a horizontal thin board used as a division between the paneling and the wall.
It is not as if I answered by own question because I cannot install a wooden board on my walls. Any suggestions?

My kindle has a funny way of putting their own word To subsitute for what I type.
Actually what I am doing is painting half the walls in my kitchen and then I am putting up a Latex deeply printed with the look of bead board and then painting it that a different color.
To make my kitchen look as if it is really bead board I need a plain strip divider at the top of the bead board going horizontally.
I do not have the savvy enough to put up a plain wood strip so that's
Not an option.
