One of my favorite uses for empty prescription bottles is for mini-sewing kits. 2-3 needles in a scrap of paper, with a yard of various sewing threads wrapped around the paper, a few black and whit buttons, and a pair of tiny manicure scissors can make a basic kit. Then these can be placed into the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child for older girls; into ziplock bags with toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and soap for homeless people; and into gift bags for various events. Of course, you have removed the labels and decorated the bottles. You can paint them or cover with Washi tape, and glue a button on top as a label. They are a perfect size for travel, too. ☺️
u can you paint them and store small things in them or u can cover them with contac paper, wallpaper . U can also put chalk label on them.
One idea I keep thinking I will do is to superglue a small rock from my yard onto the lid, then use place an extra house key in it and place it in a spot near the door. It should blend in with the materials in your yard. This would make a cute gift to include in a housewarming basket for new homeowners too.
Another idea is to decorate or personalize in some way and store quarters (if they'll fit) for college students to take to the laundromat with them....or in the car for quick access for change at a fast food drive through.

I have one in my purse with my earbuds in it.
I put the dogs' flea drops or medicine in them to be sure the little grandkids can't get to it by accident.
Also, I keep small nails and screws for little decor fixes. The containers they are sold in are too flimsy.
Great ideas!! :)
