How to take out sliding glass door in my Florida room

We can’t take out the metal part of the sliding glass door. Any suggestions

    do not think that is a diy unless you have experience in house renos

    If it's like a patio door, you should be able to lift it from the bottom into the top rail and slide it out on an angle from the bottom. Have it open about 3 or 4 inches so you can get a grip on it. If it's not like a patio door, there should be screws somewhere.

      Thanks we took out the glass doors but when we took the screws out we were having a time getting the metal frame out.

    Most come out by lifting and then tilting out while lifted. If the doesn't work, contact the manufacturer for assistance.

    It sounds like prior owner glued the metal frame in place. If that's the case, try heating the frame with a heat gun and then use a pry bar to GENTLY pry the metal frame off. Warning: Only point the heat gun on the metal side, not the wood side. You might have to repeat this process several times. Just be patient.

    There should be screws somewhere. Maybe the rails and/or sides have a covering plate so that the screws don't show and you can snap this out. Other than that, I'm stumped.
